Fields of Mistria Marriage Guide
Marriage is available in 1.0: raise a candidate to 10 hearts, complete their relationship path, propose, and hold the wedding. The player has full control over whether to have a child.
From friendship to wedding
- Build hearts through conversation, quests, festivals, and gifts.
- Watch required heart events as they unlock.
- Enter the dating phase and reach the 10-heart proposal event.
- Use the proposal item when the candidate's route allows it.
- Choose wedding details presented by the 1.0 event flow.
Other partners and children
The official FAQ says characters you were dating before marriage switch to best friend status afterward. It also says the player has full control over whether to have a child; children are optional, not a mandatory marriage timer.
The 12 candidates
All player character presentations can romance the same candidate list. Use the romance overview for roles and locations, or the focused guides for Caldarus, March, and Juniper.
